This Privacy Policy describes how the Catálogo ARS app (“app”), published by ARS Antenas Profissionais, handles user information. In short: the app does not collect personal data, does not build usage profiles and does not use trackers or ads. Network connections serve only to download catalog updates and new or changed datasheets (PDFs), and transmit only technical information that does not identify you or your device.
The app is a product catalog that works independently on your device. It does not require registration or login, does not collect personal data (such as name, e-mail, phone or location) and does not build usage profiles.
All catalog content — text, specifications, images and technical datasheets — is stored locally on the device and browsing is done offline. The app makes, when internet is available, two automatic background connections, both only to keep the content up to date — neither sends personal data:
a) Catalog update (Expo/EAS Update service). The app checks whether a new version of the content exists on an update delivery service (Expo/EAS Update) and downloads it. In this check only non-personal technical information is sent: the operating system (Android), the app version, the update channel and a random code generated when the app is installed that does not identify you or your device.
b) New or changed datasheets (ARS website). When a datasheet (PDF) is new or has changed since the last installed version, the app downloads it directly from the ARS website (arseletronica.com.br), which is served through the Cloudflare distribution network. As with any access to a website on the internet, the website's server and Cloudflare, which sits in front of it, receive the IP address of your access and standard technical request data (for example, date and time, identification of the app that is downloading and which file was requested), used to deliver the file and for operational and security reasons of the website. This data is the same as opening any page in a browser; ARS does not use it to identify you or to build profiles, and the app does not send any personal data in this download.
In both cases no name, e-mail, phone, location, device identifiers, or any browsing data are sent, and use of the catalog continues to work fully offline.
The app does not use analytics tools, trackers, cookies or ads. There is no user-behavior monitoring technology of any kind.
When you tap a contact option (WhatsApp, phone, e-mail or social media) or open/share a PDF datasheet, the app simply forwards the action to the corresponding app already installed on your device (for example, WhatsApp, the dialer, the e-mail app, the browser or the PDF viewer). From that moment on, the interaction is governed by the privacy policy of that third-party app or service. Catálogo ARS has no access to the content of those conversations, calls or messages.
The app uses only the permissions strictly necessary to display the catalog and open the external apps for contact and document viewing. It does not access contacts, camera, microphone, calendar or location.
The app does not collect data from any user, including children and adolescents.
This policy may be updated to reflect improvements in the app or legal requirements. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
